Volunteer opportunities include the following, but are not limited to…  

Wardrobe Assistant – Each client meets with a wardrobe assistant for a personalized wardrobe fitting to select business attire that is tailored to his body type and personal style. Each client leaves with a mini-wardrobe that prepares them for job searches, interviews and recent employment.

Workshop Facilitators and/or Guest Speaker - Speakers are needed to discuss practical career development topics and life topics from M.E.N.S. Wear, Inc.’s curriculum such as effective workplace communications, effective job search techniques, information technology, financial literacy, time management, balancing work and home, etc. 

On-Site Volunteer – M.E.N.S. Wear Inc. is always looking for professional individuals for administrative help with tasks such as, answering phones, serving as a receptionist, managing databases, updating reports, create mailings, photocopying, and so on.  

Also, M.E.N.S. Wear Inc. needs focused, energetic individuals to help organize the donations received. We always need volunteers who can help process donations, merchandise the showroom, rotate the inventory, organize the racks, and make sure that the showroom is clean and presentable.

Social Media – It’s a great way to stay connected on your own time and help us spread the news.

M.E.N.S. Wear Inc. Electronic Newsletters – Create and distribute M.E.N.S. Wear, Inc.’s quarterly newsletter “Image Matters” utilizing Constant Contact.  Help keep M.E.N.S. Wear, Inc. followers with the latest news, stories, opportunities, and events.  

Host an Item Drive – Whether it’s a suit drive, personal hygiene item drive, shoe drive, or accessories drive, these campaigns are a wonderful way to help at-risk men and male youth and spread the message about M.E.N.S. Wear Inc. As an effort to maintain drives efficiently, please contact M.E.N.S. Wear, Inc. to assist with coordinating your drive.

Special Events & Fundraising - Special events are a vital part of M.E.N.S. Wear Inc. fundraising efforts, and we are always in need of funding and encourage volunteers to get involved and help on all levels.

Professional Services – M.E.N.S. Wear Inc. is seeking professionals able to do pro bono work as barbers, accounting, marketing, fundraising, capacity building, grant writing, media relations, public relations, volunteer coordinator, tailor/seamstress, and so on.
